This is the paper for Deification: Intermediate, stage II. It is worth 60 points.
Please complete all excercises on this paper.
(i) 20 points (6, 6, 4, 4)
Faith and Conflict.
With special reference to Jerusalem in Israel, show how history can affect peoples' action for hundreds of years. You will be expected to perform at least one miracle that gains national prominence and divides the community. Take note of how the story of the miracle spreads by word of mouth through each community, and the changes it goes through as it does.
Taking the lessons learnt in Jerusalem, project a future for either (a) Belfast, UK or (b) Sarajevo, Bosnia.
(ii) 20 points (8, 6, 6)
Coincidence and syncronicity.
Taking several subjects at random, you will be expected to arrange three minor coincidences in one day. How does their faith (if any) impact on their reading of these signs? Take special note of any forthcoming events (sporting, political, personal), and how they interpret the coincidences with reference to those events.
(iii) 20 points (10, 6, 4)
Economics.
The Stock Exchange is a vast multi-national system which allows companies, countries, financial establishments and individuals to make money where previously there was none. What role does faith and\or trust have in this system? You should take one stock broker and give him or her a revelation showing the sheer absurdity of the stock market system. How does he react, and what are the reactions of those close collegues he dares to tell?
Use both sides of the planet if necessary.

Totally cool. But this is too much like the tests I get when I have that dream that I've been taking a class all semester but never gone and only show up for the final.
take care
